Hi - first of a few benchmarks to come, am testing hardware.

This machine is a Scientific Linux 64 bit virtual guest (vmware) on a Win 7 Box.

Kernel : 2.6.32-279.22.1.el6.x86_64
Linux Distribution : Scientific Linux release 6.3 (Carbon)
CPU Name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5520 @ 2.27GHz
CPU Type : x86_64

Hi Pattim,

Thanks for the upload! Really interesting results with bulldozer.

I get the impression that the benchmarks are not backwards comparable with previous versions of EMS, so perhaps other folks can also post some benchmarks with the awesome new release? I will post soon too, just had a crash on the benchmarking on my one machine, need to figure out what went wrong.

Hi, I'm considering the possibility of buying a unique device for EMS, low power consumption, speed, silent ......

Any advice? ....

I liked pc Mac Mini, but not sure you can install linux with total reliability

I also like the MintBox 2 Intel i5, 4GB ram, 500GB hd, (Geekbench score 7541)

what do you think?.....
